In AS THE WORLD TURNS* I put two different worlds into one context: the world of film and the world we actually live in. This “marriage” produces a new world that feels so wrong but also so true. This newborn world stimulates emotions ranging from laughter to pain, from amusement to sorrow - questioning one‘s own standards and hypocrisies.

*AS THE WORLD TURNS is also the title of an American television soap opera which ran for 54 years.
